Inaugurated Youth Festival at Aryans Group Of Institutes



Chandigarh (7-11-09)



A two-day youth festival of the 45 colleges of PTU Zone IV today began at the Aryans Group of Institutes (AGOI), at its Campus at village Nepra, Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, near Chandigarh. S. Manpreet Singh Badal, Finance Minister, Punjab inaugurated the fest. Sh. Raj Khurana, MLA, Chief Parliamentary Secretary was the guest of honour while the function was presided over by Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Institutes .S.Parminder Singh Dhindsa, PWD Minister, Punjab, would be the chief guest in the prize Distribution Function to be held on Sunday.



While Addressing the Youth in the fest, Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal today appealed to everyone to reaffirm their commitment to the cause of the nation. Badal further added, without hard work you never change the destiny. He also applauded the progress by Aryans Group of Institutes in short span of 2 years. Sh. Raj Khurana, MLA, Chief Parliamentary Secretary said that, he will provide all possible help to Aryans Group for their further expansion.



Major Participants in the Fest were Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Institute, Chanakya, Chitkara, Desh Bhagat, Dr. IT, Doraha Inst., GGNIMT, Gurukul, GNIMT, Malwa, PIET, RIMT, Sh. Attam Valabh Jain; SVIET etc. participated in the fest. A total of 26 Items were presented including Punjabi Folk Dance (Boys), Punjabi Folk Dance (Girls), Classical Dance, One Act Play, Mimicry, Light Vocal Indian, Poster Making, Elocution, Poem Recitation, War Singing, Clay Modeling, Quiz, Debate, On the Spot Painting etc.




Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group, said The Festival is a unique platform for young talent and a celebration of youthful creativity and innovation. Kataria added, such festivals build self-esteem and confidence of the youth. Their creativity is developed and honed in these competitions.
